Leona Conrick
Leona has worked in Military Family Resource Centres for 15 years, volunteered for 15 more, and has been a veteran spouse for 35 years, living coast to coast with her family. As Executive Director of the PEI-MFRC, she’s honoured to support military and veteran families and help ensure their stories are heard.
Wayne Forster
Wayne Forster a 27-year Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Veteran Family Program Coordinator at the PEI Military Family Resource Centre. Based in Prince Edward Island, Wayne works alongside military members, Veterans, RCMP families, and their loved ones, connecting them with programs and supports that help them thrive after service. As a Team Lead for the Canadian Walk for Veterans, Wayne is passionate about bringing the community together to show Veterans that their service matters and that they are not alone on their journey.
